Praha Teaser

I'm only posting some teaser pictures from Prague (Praha) because I know my legions of screaming fans demand them. I'm exhausted from subbing today. I will never- NEVER- sub for the seventh grade gym class again. They ate me up, crushed me with their molars, and spit me out on the cold, wet, German concrete.

Praha itself is beautiful. The architecture was definitely my favorite part- baroque, Romanesque, Renaissance, Art Nouveau, etc. Many of the doorways and window arches are decorated, and I caught myself roaming around, looking up all the time. In combination with my clogs and my lack-of-walking-skills, it was very dangerous.

We ate Thankgiving lunch at a cafe in the Municipal House, a stunner of an art nouveau place. Czech food is all goulash and pork and dumplings and pivo (beer). Delicious! And kind of like turkey with gravy...


More tomorrow- I literally can't keep my eyes open.
