Antiques in Tongeren

Several weekends ago, I spent Sunday at Tongeren (Belgium), a legendary flea market/antique city. The weather was gorgeous and I had a great time traipsing around searching for treasures. I was on the prowl for a dresser, and I found the perfect one. I also took home a wooden bocce ball set for 8 E, and an old bread basket that now houses our phone books. I can't wait to go back and stock up on more furniture before we leave Europe.

My friends and castle-mates Laurie and Michelle were with me, and even if none of us found what we were looking for, the trip would have been worth it- those waffles were DELICIOUS!
