When I was 18 I left Iowa and started college in Colorado Springs- knowing no one and very scared (in a good way). Ten years later, I'm sitting in a hotel room in Denver after 19 hours of travel, getting ready for two weeks of conferences. I'm exhausted. Too exhausted to go get some dinner. Besides, it's 3:20 am for me.
Time for sleep, and a haircut tomorrow! It's nice to be back with the Rockies just outside my window.
