Ain't Nuthin but a Sea Plane

Y'all, I cannot say enough about the Maldives. They were, simply, kick-ass. I hate to give up the details, because I'd like to keep this place "my little secret," but it's too good to keep to myself.

We jetted to Male, the capital of this island chain, which lies off the south-western coast of India. Qatari Airways was great, by the way. Roomy seats, personal movie screens (my new favorite thing), and delicious food. Travel-wise, things went so smoothly on this trip, it was amazing.

More details later, but here are a few pictures to whet your appetite. We took Maldivian Air Taxi from Male to Lily Beach Resort, and it was a blast. I think I see a future for myself as a barefoot pilot!
